Who

Kernel Bye’s 6 competitive teams are comprised of 40 dedicated high school students, joined by a common goal to collaborate, share knowledge and explore STEM fields. Our hardworking members are dedicated individuals who frequently travel around Ontario in order to compete against other VEX teams with the support of mentors, teachers, and parents.

Where

2381 Robotics is a high school robotics club run at Colonel By Secondary School in Ottawa, Ontario. Our club welcomes a very diverse set of bright students coming from all over the city of Ottawa due to the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program offered at Colonel By, and provides a productive workspace for members to prepare for competitions.

What

Every year, VEX releases a new game-based engineering challenge. 2381 teams are challenged to apply the engineering process to real-world problems in order to design, build, and program a robot to compete. Tournaments are held year-round at the regional, provincial, national, and international level at the VEX Robotics World Championship.
